Assistant fire chief arrested for using fake police lights to impersonate officer
The assistant fire chief of the La Habra Heights Fire Department was arrested Thursday for impersonating a police officer and false imprisonment, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced.
You can buy blue and red flashing lights with several sirens in most big stores. AA battery, clip to your rear view mirror and when someone cuts you off... Great fun. They often mistake it for a plain clothes car.
I hate these kinds of stories, because they tarnish all of us in the fire service. It's bad enough getting shot and killed at a stupid dumpster fire.
