  1. Can't help it. I've always had a weakness for bull riders. Sigh.

  2. I rode bulls but never professionally. I never again afttter the day I saw my friend's jaw kicked through his cheek. He had gone professional.

Didya know there are rodeo schools? So a guy who never once did a lick of ranch work could become a calf roper or bull rider. Sign here, pays yer money.

  4. Those bulls look too fit to have tender steaks. They would have to retire to the field for a couple years to get some fat in those muscles.

  5. January 31, 2022 in Gavin Newsom's mask mandated California and not a mask to be seen, with zero social distancing taking place. It does my heart good.

    1. Hey, if Pretty Pretty Gavin isn't going to wear his mask at a ball game, I don't see how he could expect anyone to wear one at a rodeo.

    2. Yep.
I'd like to see Gavie walk in to the middle of that event wearing his skinny jeans and girlie sneakers and holler "Hey, you bull riders! If you don' put your masks on I'm going to shut this event down RIGHT NOW!"

  6. A lot, probably most, of the rodeo stock was supplied by the Flying U ranch. Them bulls are bred mean on purpose.

    1. I'm way too old to be doing that but when I was young, I used to never do that all the time.
