Canada issues a State of Emergency, threatens truckers

Comrades, Ontario Premier Doug Ford held a press conference this afternoon to announce he has declared a ‘state of emergency‘ and intends to issue orders against dissident truckers authorizing the police to place them under arrest, initiate fines up to $100k each individual, and revoke the personal and commercial licenses of anyone who doesn’t comply. The rebellion must be quashed, before the citizens start to think they have power.

  1. How long will Ford hold out if all grocery deliveries stop across the province? Just drive home and park your rigs...

    1. Top off the tanks, service them, do an inframe rebuild early to prep for when the hungry masses topple the government. Shut down the trucking industry.

  2. That one single phrase "before they start thinking citizens have power" is most telling. That is the most powerful conviction of this entire article.

  3. That sure sounds like the actions of a tin pot dictator, not an elected official in a democratic nation.

  7. Pictures I've seen of Ford, he's a fat fuck that would have problems walking more than 50 ft without hypertension so he best STFU before some of those truckers get tired of his bullshit

  8. I agree with the earlier comment -- if they are forced out by this totalitarian action -- just go home and park the rigs (or in the case of drivers that work for trucking firms-- call in sick in-mass (it works for the cops when they get the "blue flu")

Target the action against the key "homes" of the politicians that are starting the action against them -- like Ottawa, and Toronto (home/key base for this idiot Doug Ford)
Let them see what really happens when fuel and food deliveries stop, and the "soy boys"/Karens in their political base start screaming

  10. So they are threatening to cancel their commercial trucking license if they don't peacefully give up their lives as commercial truckers? Pardon those who don't appreciate the subtle differences in those positions.

  11. I don't think they should leave. Even if the police arrest the truckers and jail them, they still can't remove the trucks/tractors because the tow companies all have Covid.

If they do decide to leave, after parking their trucks/tractors at home, when the regional terminals call looking for tractors to haul a load, all they have to say is "sorry, I'm home isolating per .gov directive for Covid." That should be doubly true for grocery and fuel loads. That doesn't mean you have it, you're just isolating as a precaution. Same effect. Most all commerce is still shut.

Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders really fooked up when they allowed the government to take their firearms. instead of shooting all the lawmakers that passed those laws.

Civil disobedience is still the best way. Gandhi and MLK proved that. However, when you come up against a government that exhibits the totalitarian characteristics that these three have, how do you trust them to carry out any agreement after that.

Tyrants DO NOT give up power, EVER, unless forced. We learned that in 1775.

  12. Want to read something that will really make your head spin like the girl in the Exorcist? Read this, especially scroll down and read the National Terrorism Advisory Bulletin from DHS, just a little way down from the top:

  13. There are a lot of truckers that have their families with them which will make for awfully bad optics. Of course, the CA Gov is already questioning the 'safety' of those children and their 'living conditions' and is thinking about having the child 'protective' service look into taking them. THAT has not gone over well at all.
All of the POLS and lefties are really trying to push the GO button.

    1. No Sir, that was a mistake, a liability they will exploit. They will decide what is unsafe for your children, not you. That is how they think. The children will be used to get to the adults.

You wanna play the my dick is bigger than your dick game, Prove yours be bigger by not even getting into a waging contest. You starve, I win asshole. Simple, now ya got their attention.

    1. You think the drivers own those $400k rigs? Have you not noticed all the dotheads, swami's, turbans, and other 3rd world shithole drivers behind the wheels of those things lately? Think NAFTA might honor a few foreign CDL licenses?

  15. When push comes to shove, Canadians need the truckers.
What they don't need is Ford & his like.
Hoping for a good old fashioned lynching.
