Did she even think to call the other boy's parents before getting the cops involved?
ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. (WWMT) — A third-grade student is facing assault charges after an Allegan County, Michigan mother said he beat up her second-grade son.
The prosecutor will decline to prosecute. It would set a bad precedent of criminalizing all schoolyard fights, especially where the injuries are only scratches.
I agree that the DA will almost certainly decide not to prosecute. However... Sometimes getting the cops involved is the only appropriate response. Teachers won't do anything? Damned kids parents won't do anything (or school won't even give you contact info)? What ARE your options?
Bullying is endemic to our socialist school system. This is by design, as the system (particularly segregation of kids by age, separation of class by subject, and large class sizes) was set up that way to implicitly enforce "the nail that sticks up gets hammered" policy. It's part and parcel of increasing government power and pushing the agenda of socialism.
It's not broken if it's working according to spec. It's just that 99% of people don't realize what the school system was designed to do. And yes, crying "it's broken! Give us more money!" *IS* actually in the spec. Don't fall for their bullshit.
Bullying is a made up problem created by today's metrosexual society. Bullying is really individuals in a population learning they're place in society. Leaders or followers, strong or weak, everyone has a place. If the school systems would just leave the kids to mother nature and let them fight it out or get the shit kicked out of them, then there'd be a lot less altercations in the long run. When you tell people what is expected of them instead of letting others in the community dictate what is and isn't acceptable you cause a lot of confusion. Understand, as a 5'5" short man, I was "picked on" (not bullied, I refuse to use that word) in school. Until one day I had an epiphany (and had been working out) and when one of the toughest kids in the school started on me (for the umpteenth time), I clocked him so unexpectedly, broke his nose and semi knocked him out. NO ONE ever f'ed with me again. That's life's lessons right there.
I agree that calling the cops was the best action. The school wasn't doing anything and the parents of the other sure as shit aren't going to do anything. This ain't the old days when you knew the other kid would get a beating when you told the parents.
