Got preps?

NEW YORK - Russia's widespread cyberattacks are part of a technique to destabilize Ukraine before a possible invasion, according to U.S. government officials, who are bracing for possible cyberattacks in the United States.

If Russia mounts cyberattacks against the United States, the targets could include banks, power plants, water treatment facilities, and communications. Cyber experts say Russia has the capability to disable or destroy U.S. satellites. Those attacks could also impact GPS for navigation, farming, automation, and oil exploration.

  1. Now if the article said "expect false flag cyber attacks attributed to Russia" I might have read the whole article

    1. And you felt the need to tell me that..... I don't write the articles, you know that, right?

You must not do much reading at all if you're going to nitpick shit like that.
Oh well, your loss, not mine.

  2. If they knock the grid out does anyone have ANY confidence that our elected officials(I will not call them leaders) will be able to come up with a coherent plan , let alone a statement ? Anyone here seen a picture of the screwball that's going to be in charge of nuclear waste ? The rest of the world is laughing at us ,and for good reason!

    1. Don't worry, we have experts on hand. And though all our previous experts have been hugely off target, we know we have the experts to handle this situation.

      Sarc. off

  3. Anything happens as discussed in the article against the grid or associated infrastructure, one thing will be certain: People will only own that which they can physically defend....

Probably an obvious statement, but worth repeating...

  4. Within 90 minutes of WW3 starting, nothing will work. I have every reason to believe everything is pre-hacked, backdoors installed and maintained / tested.

  7. I call bullshit on the capability to disable or destroy U.S. satellites. They would have to be physically attacked in space. The redundancy of the security, encoding, encryption, and the control of the channels on a bird makes it highly unlikely for an interruption in service.

BTW: I have over 30 years in military and civilian commo experience. Getting on a bird is the easy part (azimuth and elevation) but the settings from frequency, bit rate, byte size, encoding, up-channel settings, encryption for the bird to accept a signal then to process it and send it back down with the controllers blessing can be a challenge.

    1. You sound like the same bunch that insisted masking, distancing, and hand washing would defeat Covid.
