I bet somebody's getting extra belly rubs now

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — A South Florida resident can truly say that a dog is man’s best friend.

Harry Smith, 81, of Port St. Lucie, was rescued Jan. 31 after the electric wheelchair he uses lost traction in the grass, rolled down an embankment and flipped into a nearby lake while he was walking his dog, the Port St. Lucie Police Department said Friday in a Facebook post.

    1. The text under the picture says she's a beagle MIX, and yes, I can see the beagle in her.

  5. After my Mom's dog saved her life by waking her up during a house fire, he got a bone ANY TIME HE WANTED. I'd buy them 40 lbs at a time from the butcher. This was for a 30 lb dog.
