Let's see how that works out for them

SAN JOSE, Calif. — As the Bay Area continues to struggle under the weight of its homelessness crisis, officials and nonprofits are asking local residents to do more than hand out meals or donate spare change. They’re asking them to open up their homes.

  1. Employees of government and non-profits ... you first.

  2. The virtuous libtards should be fighting each other to house them.

  3. Not a large step from “asking” to forcing…

  4. So, in Woodside, each homeowner can take in one homeless and one puma, right?

    1. I think the way to tell the difference is by noting which one has the silicon implants.

  5. First is the asking. Then comes "suggesting". Then comes "mandating". If I was a homeowner there I would be listing my house yesterday.

  6. Can't wait for the followup on this, as the same people who feel all virtuous for voting for supporting the legislation that encourages the situation in the first place are the first in line to protest when it actually impacts THEM. Affordable housing in MY neighborhood? My property values!

    1. You haven't seen the articles? They're fighting the federal mandate forcing mukti-unit dwellings in single-family areas. In San Fran, and all the swanky suburbs around it.
Rules are for the little people.

  7. How many smelly, psychotic meth addicts do you think the botoxed ginhag will put up in her mansions? I can hear it now..........."No, no. go right ahead and chow down on my $12/pint ice cream, want some wine to go with it?" I'm sure her daughter will take in a few homeless sex offenders, too, right?

  8. Don't forget: the moment you let them in YOU will be the one that is evicted.

  9. And they'll tell you "Bum Fights" is immoral.

  10. Okay, now, I am genuinely concerned about these unfortunate people. What I want to know is; are they dropping like flies from the COVID-19 pandemic? Are they vaccinated? Are they dying en-mass? What is becoming of these poor, homeless, jobless, food-less, and probably hopeless people? Were they recruited for their voting abilities and then left to their own devices to die of disease, hunger, and exposure to the elements?

Has the government taken any steps to get these people housed, fed, washed, clothed, and employed?

  12. And don't be concerned about the homeless stealing from you. They're mostly honest people. /sarc

  13. Flash back to early 2017. Remember that little nagging voice in your head telling you it's time to leave the Bay Area and never look back? You know...the one that already saw the writing on the wall for a few years. Hopefully you listened and got out while the getting was good.
