‘The brand is so toxic’: Democrats fear extinction in rural US

SMETHPORT, Pa. - Some Democrats here in rural Pennsylvania are afraid to tell you they’re Democrats.

The party’s brand is so toxic in the small towns 100 miles northeast of Pittsburgh that some liberals have removed bumper stickers and yard signs and refuse to acknowledge their party affiliation publicly. These Democrats are used to being outnumbered by the local Republican majority, but as their numbers continue to dwindle, the few that remain are feeling increasingly isolated and unwelcome in their own communities.

  2. If there was ever a time for the GOP to become true champions of the people, now is time to have at it. Don't hold your breath.

  3. Democrats fear extinction in rural US. Geeze - they say that like it would be a bad thing. It's their own damned fault for supporting Leftist programs and policies that are not in anyone's best interest (well, except for the politicians). Republicans are not saints, but at least they aren't Satanists, with the devotion to infanticide, lying, and support of Marxism-socialism-Communism.

  4. Looking at a gift falling right into the repubiitards hands, but somehow, as past experience has shown, they will manage to f**k this up as well

    1. That's why Republicans are known as "The Stupid Party."

But on the other hand, "I am not a member of any organized political party. I am a Democrat." - Will Rogers

  5. And some well known liberals are running as "conservative" Republicans. Take for example Dr. Mehmet Oz. The well known liberal was featured on Mark Levin's show last night rambling on about protecting our rights, the constitution, Mom and apple pie if he wins in Pennsylvania.

What you have here is a carbon copy of at best, a Lindsey Graham. At worst, a Mitt Romney.

  6. the smart thing to do would be to start a new party. one that has nothing to do with the other assholes. trump could do this. he has enough people behind him to pull it off.
it would be a nice change to the same old shit we see every 2-4 years now.
back in 1992, ross p almost pulled it off, but we ended up with the nightmare of the clintons instead. not that bush was any better really. seems like after ronnie, everyone since has sold us out one way or another. just saying. for a long time now, there is really no difference between the 2 groups of assholes. granted there are a few good ones, but not many

  7. There are so many rinos in office, it doesn't matter much anymore. Of course, the real reason it doesn't matter is the election rigging that is so prevalent now. Democrats WILL find a way to come out on top.

  9. As I consistently explain, if you vote Democrat, you are voting for the barbaric slaughter of unborn children.

So far I have made several very angry and defensive. I just keep pointing out that you can profess to serve Jesus Christ, and vote to kill babies.

  11. I live 20 miles from Smethport, PA. You can drive through every small town in this area and not see a single Biden/D sign.

  12. At least most of the Republicans aren't. Then you have Cheney, Romney, and friends.
