Your Feel-Good Story of the Day

A teenage cancer survivor in Boerne, Texas, raised over $30,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at a recent livestock auction.

Seventeen-year-old Maddie Barber was fighting what she thought were migraines, however, in 2017 following multiple tests she received an answer to what was happening, KSAT reported Friday.

  1. At the top we have a story of a demented tranny wolf and then we have a story about a beautiful young lady. God is good in his balance; you can't appreciate light without darkness.

  2. “Right after he said all donations go to St. Jude, all the cards went up. All the bidding cards went up,” the young woman commented.
She did a good thing, and people generally do NOT mind giving money to an organization that they know does good with it.

    1. St. Jude is NOT a charity you should give to.

Its founder, Danny Thomas, was a gun-grabber, and their current spokes-weasel, his daughter, Marlo, is too. But, get this:

St. Jude’s Hoards Billions. Families Testify It’s Not Really Free As Advertised - November 21, 2021
      https://www.propublica.org/article/st-jude-hoards-billions-while-many-of-its-families-drain-their-savings

"St. Jude’s has helped many sick children and their families, though apparently not as much as the organization would like everyone to believe. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital promises not to bill families. But the cost of having a child at the hospital for cancer care leaves some families so strapped for money that parents spend nights in the parking lot. St. Jude spends about $500 million a year on patient services - a figure that includes all medical care and other assistance. Very little of what St. Jude raises from the public goes to pay for food, travel and housing for families."
