Latest Candidate in the TN-5 GOP Primary Is Currently on Trial for Charges Related to January 6

Stewart Parks, the latest candidate to announce that he is actively running in the Republican primary for Tennessee’s Fifth Congressional District, is also facing charges stemming from the January 6 Capitol incident. Currently, Parks is collecting qualifying petitions.

    If I were in his district he would definitely have my vote simply based on those charges.

    We haven't had a former governor sent to prison since I was a kid (pardon, me, Mr. Blanton--I hope that song title isn't copyrighted, and oops), but we'll get there. We're working our way up to it.
