On her way to visit an inmate in a stolen vehicle.....

A Macon County woman was recently arrested by local authorities on theft and drug charges after fleeing officers during a traffic stop. 

According to detective Jacob McClard, on February 20, 2022 the Macon County Sheriff’s Office received information about a person in possession of a stolen vehicle who was en route to the jail to visit an inmate.
