I remember that "candy" We got a hold of some acid on chicklets once and the purple ones were a stronger dose. Natch I said gimme a purple one. Holy cow, that was some strong shit.
Purple Microdot at the Van Halen/Black Sabbath concert in Mannheim Germany, 1978. Fu@ked up as a football bat. Was also doing some X112 liquid speed drops. We called it "Rocket Fuel." You could by it over the counter in German pharmacies.
Still living in Germany X112 is the nastiest tasting shit on the planet after Nyquil. And around 2002 they removed the ingredient that gave you the speed experience. So no reason to take it anymore.
And that's why we put the drops in either coffee or a 12 oz soft drink. I couldn't drink Pepsi for years afterwards because I'd have an imaginary aftertaste.
It didn't matter what you mixed it with... we used mostly mezzo-mix, it still tasted horrible. You learned to chug fast and deal with the aftertaste afterwards.
Back then during those wonderful insane years the bummer was ya couldn't trip every day. Had to wait a couple days for the shit to work again. I tripped a lot in the early seventies. I haven't had a flash back in a long time but used to like em a lot. Today if I stand to quick and see sparkles and shit I stop and go, Oh Wow Mon. I don't do any dope. I haven't for years but take what I can get.
I avoided all hard drugs and alcohol through the 60s, 70s, 80s etc .... the result was that I am still here with most of my brain, and a comfortable retirement in a desirable locale ... on my own dime.
I also avoided post secondary education and passed those savings along to my customers for many years.
Most of the other folks I new in my life didn't do so well, but they had some great high times during those three decades. They are all either dead or poor seniors.
Ah 14) My first was woodstock blotter back in 1983.

I'm doing quite fine thank you very much. It's not all about avoiding it, but knowing when you have outgrown it and that it's time to quit.
