Allen Lee Robinson has at least been charged with 'unlawful use of a weapon - flourishing'. Meaning he pointed his Taurus at the officers after he jerked open the passenger side door.
According to the bleeding heart Gardner, the police don't know how to write since, in her opinion, their report does not support a charge of attempted carjacking.
Any sane person when told the facts that the *alleged* suddenly pulled open the door of some random vehicle then swept the occupants with the muzzle of his handgun they would conclude he meant to use force, including great bodily injury, to unlawfully take control of said vehicle.
