"You ain't stealing my inheritance, Bubba"

MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A convicted felon broke into a Millersville home, only to be held at gunpoint by a nearby resident until police arrived.

It happened just before 6 a.m. in Millersville. That’s when police got a call that there was a burglar in a house.

When officers arrived, they found the burglar with his hands up with the homeowner’s grandson holding him at bay with a handgun.

  1. This is sad. I don't know Tennessee law but couldn't he have shot the son of a bitch dead legally? One more piece of shit off the board.

    1. Afraid not. Texas is ahead of us; you can shoot a burglar for property theft. Not in TN.
The way I figure it is that, since I spend time of my life earning the money with which I buy what I own, the theft of my belongings is theft of part of my life. That's worth shooting. TN doesn't see it that way.

  2. A lengthy arrest and felony conviction record: the State should just take him out and shoot him, because he will not stop being an asshole. "But he's addicted!" As if that excuses anything. A few slugs from a firing squad will cure his addiction and any other mental illnesses he might have. Three strikes and you are fuckin' dead! Then, you can explain your addiction/mental illness to God and let Him decide.

  3. They didn't give an address, but part of Millersville is seriously way up in some hollers. I had friends who lived over there--Pole Hill Road comes to mind, among others. You don't want to fuck around over there.
For those wondering, it's in the Davidson/Sumner/Robertson county intersection, mostly the first two.
