Commentary: The 25th Amendment Won’t Fix Our Biden Problem

Despite widespread concern about his cognitive health, President Biden won’t be removed from office pursuant to the 25th Amendment. It would require an unlikely display of integrity from his Vice President and Cabinet, plus an implausible level of bipartisanship in Congress. Moreover, the claims of politicians and pundits aside, the involuntary ouster of an unfit president isn’t the purpose of the amendment. Its principal function is to guarantee that the executive branch of the government is at all times led by an official who is conscious and able to communicate. Thus, the first 3 of its 4 sections focus on keeping the presidency continuously occupied.

  1. First off, I refuse to use the honorific "President" when discussing this grifter. Nor will I call his babysitter "First Lady" or "Doctor". And as for Chlamydia? I've known smarter place-mats.

The purpose of the 25th may be to ensure the office is always occupied; however at this point in our country's history I don't think that much matters anymore, as we are obviously being ruled by a cabal.

  2. Why would it matter. Biden isn't running things. Anyone taking his place would be worse, although Harris might provide some much needed humor.

  3. Also, the line of succession is as dismal as having Biden in office. If Biden is ousted, then Harris is next, and after her Pelosi.

  4. Biden is put in a closet the moment he enters the white house. Getting rid of him still leaves all the people making decisions. The guy turning off the mic when the president speaks will be out of a job. Things could get interesting if kamala does not listen to her handlers. I think the state media will still follow the handlers.

  5. Even money says Cackles COVID case is fatal. They gotta get rid of her first somehow and this is an incredible opportunity to do so. Puddin’head’s handlers appoint Barry Obumblefuck and then he gets conveniently 25th’d out. Barry tags Malignancy cause Felonia von Pantsuit isn’t controllable and will probably go rogue on the handlers. They’ve got that headache already with Cackles. The other 2 are already bought & paid for. They have to keep up appearances that they’re at least trying to play in bounds. Cackles snuffin’ it in office makes her a martyr, Puddin’head becomes the pity vote poster child and Barry’s a known quantity. Grab a cocktail and a cigar, this’ll be a great circus.

    1. Barry's not eligible. 22nd Amendment proscribes more than two terms for any President.

As to Cackles, the reason she was selected to run on the ticket was as an insurance policy that Biden wouldn't be 25th out nor impeached for any crime committed before or during his Presidency. No one in the Demonrat party wants to see her as President. Well except maybe her. I think a lot her staff signed on originally thinking that Joe would be gone early. Now that they've come to the conclusion that most of the rest of the party can't stand her and her star is fading fast on her own actions, both inside the WH and in public, they're jumping ship like rats before any more harm comes to their reputations.

    2. Nemo, the 22nd says is "No person shall be ELECTED to the office of the President more than twice". It doesn't say a thing about somebody being appointed be whatever underhanded scheme the Left concocts.

    3. Yep. If he gets appointed as VP then ascends to the throne via succession, he’s eligible. To really push their agenda, they may tag some other yahoo of a bought puppet as VP once barry steps back up. That way they can install yet a 3rd placeholder for 8 years in 2024. Barry won’t be eligible to run in 2024, so it’ll have to be a call to the bullpen.
