yup, like getting caught by the 1sgt and the SGM while skipping with your 4 year old daughter in web gear and weapons. minus the damn steel pot. neither one said a word about it then. but later I caught s bit of shit over not wearing the damn steel pot.
I have 3 sons and 3 grandsons and soon I am going to have my first granddaughter and this scares the hell out of me! Albeit, always wanted boys because I knew what to do with them being male myself but I am looking forward to this change of pace.
Think of girls as the same as boys. Praise them as having the same abilities, and hold them too the same high expectations. Think of girls as the same as boys, only softer and more cuddly, and they tend to smell much better too.
I understand that this is supposed to be a capture of a loving dad connecting with his little girl. But he's sewing the seeds of gender psychosis.

DeleteAnd he’s on his frigg’n phone. Nothing says one is paying attention to their child when they are immersed in that stupid phone.

Exactly!
DeleteDoing it while being "the cool dad" is one thing. It's another entirely to do it after she's gone to bed.
ReplyDeleteYes. And who is taking the picture?
ReplyDeleteBTW, that looks like PJW from that blog who's name I can't remember.
If strong daddy was for reals, he would have dressed up as a prince, and not taken any pics.
Just my opinion, mind you....

ReplyDeleteTreat her the same as the boys, how to fish, shoot guns, work on the truck, pound nails...all the good stuff. She will remember that always.
