Officials are calling the recovery of Buddy the cat ‘miraculous’ as he heads to a foster home with a veterinarian where he’ll get continued care.
Last week, Buddy was on a front porch in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood. Video of the incident showed two suspects, ages 17 and 12, walking by the porch with their dogs.
While I’m not a cat person I’m glad Buddy made it and I hope they prosecute those two bastards to the maximum.
ReplyDeleteBuddy is one cool cat. That's the first feral cat I've ever heard of that liked to be petted by anybody and everybody.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like he might be getting a permanent home with one of the treating vets. Nice story.
I am a cat person and if I had been the homeowner who came across that scene, those dogs would have been shot. Let their whiny little bitch owners complain. I would just have been putting down dangerous animals, and they should be content that I didn't put all four down.

these are juvenile serial killers
ReplyDeleteRemorseless gangbangers. Their culture will provide the comeuppance they desperately need someday.

This happened in Philadelphia, Kermit Gosnell's old stomping grounds.
ReplyDeleteMuch as I hate to say it, maybe that POS and shame-to-the-medical-profession Kermit had a point. If'n only their mommas had gone to see Kermit, we wouldn't have been on the hook for 29 years (and counting) of support for those ... people. (How dare I assume they don't come from stable, loving, 2-parent families with strong morals. I denounce myself!)
