I took my granddaughter to the airport Monday. Walking into and all around the airport was no problem, but as soon as I crossed that magic line to check her baggage and get her boarding pass, I was told I needed to put on a mask. The gentleman that told me was very courteous, so I nodded and courteously stepped back six inches to safety and gave her a hug goodbye.
I flew into San Antonio a couple of weeks ago for my daughter's Corpsman graduation and there was approximately half of everyone not wearing masks, including past the security check points. The layover was in Utah and it was like that for about 15% of the people.
ReplyDeleteI flew Delta and the stewardess from the Portland to Salt Lake flight got uppity when I pulled the mask down so she could hear me order my drink. So I put the mask back up and spoke really softly and listened to her complain that she couldn't hear me. The Salt Lake to San Antonio flight, the stewardess didn't mind at all and was very polite.
Here at Boston Logan as I type this. I was the only person not wearing a mask in the waiting area. At the TSA checkpoint you had to have a mask (and I had one on for that). But you have to show the the obese morons in blue your face when they’re scanning your ID. (Yes, scanned. They don’t touch it because cooties.) So I took my mask off to comply. And of course the fat, man-bunned mystery meat diversity hire barked at me to put on my mask.
