Pressure builds to lift transportation mask mandates

The Biden administration is under increasing pressure to lift its transportation mask mandate, set to run until April 18, as officials weigh the risks of the latest omicron subvariant against rising frustrations among states and industry executives.

I took my granddaughter to the airport Monday. Walking into and all around the airport was no problem, but as soon as I crossed that magic line to check her baggage and get her boarding pass, I was told I needed to put on a mask. The gentleman that told me was very courteous, so I nodded and courteously stepped back six inches to safety and gave her a hug goodbye.
