I never could understand sentencing, especially life imprisonment sentences. If you're sentenced to life, you'd think that meant you were going to be locked up for a very, very long time.
Back in my younger days when I was pretty heavily involved in drugs and the drug trade, I knew several people that were sentenced to life for homicide. Only one is still locked up, and I think the reason for that is because of offences he committed while he was in prison, basically proving he's unsuitable for parole.
The rest of them were out within 10 years.
Bullet to the back of the head, will solve the problem,
ReplyDeleteUh huh, and the demonrats want to install one thats especially light on pedophiles into the supreme court. Because she's black.
ReplyDelete"The rest of them were out within 10 years."
ReplyDeleteThat's why judges sentence with years exceeding several lifetimes. They don't want those types back on the street, ever.

Based of the other post this morning, does anyone believe he'll survive very long in prison?
ReplyDeleteI hope not.
DeleteThose sex abusers soon will have a supporter on the SCOTUS.
ReplyDeleteI was on a jury in a trial where the defendant was sentenced to life plus 33 years. As I understood it then, that made him eligible for parole in 30 years. It's been about 35 years and he's still locked up. (He was not a nice person)
ReplyDeleteI learned on jury duty where we gave a piece of shit 2 life plus a 100 convictions was eligible for parole in 15 years.
ReplyDeleteThe judicial system is separate from the corrections system.
Should have nailed him to a wall.
