Sometimes you have to just accept your losses

NEW YORK - A New York man fell 250 feet to his death while trying to retrieve his drone. 

It happened Tuesday morning in the Orange County town of Deerpark. 

The New York State Police say that Binh Ledinh, 42, was flying a drone at the Hawk’s Nest. 

The drone crashed about 17 feet down an embankment.

    That's maybe 40-45 miles west of me. The other end of the county.

    Somebody else fell off of the cliff at the 'Old Storm King' overlook (above the Hudson river) last week. This is between West Point and Cornwall.

    Orange county is the only county to border both the Hudson and Delaware rivers.
