The crisis at the United States-Mexico border has shown no signs of slowing down, and the Biden administration has done little to quell the flow of illegal immigrants into the country.
In response, Texas governor Greg Abbott has decided to bring the issue directly to those in Washington, DC.
When I first heard about the wetbacks being sent to Washington,my thoughts were "grate"and about time! Wait!! This is NOT a done deal....Abbott only threatened to send. Remember Abbott saying Texas was going to finish the wall? HA!!! Only 800 feet was built and that was a photo op.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly. Now he starts this sh*t. He could of done something right after the elections was stolen, but he did nothing. He must be up for reelection come November which is why he's pretending to do something.
DeleteBut he made sure that antisemitism bill was signed into law pronto.
DeleteTells us whose interests he really protects.
He is in fact up this year. I was so disappointed in the primary, he got something like 70%. He "sent the Nat'l Gaurd to the border", but all they're doing is escorting people to the feds, not stopping them. A journalist was recording the scene, and they harassed him and threatened to arrest him.
DeleteIt would be informative to learn which neighborhoods had the highest density of Democratic Congresspeople.
ReplyDeleteFailing that, which neighborhoods have the highest percentage of high-level Department of Homeland Security executives.
D.C. Metro areas is pretty big. Best to drop them off where the right kind of people will be able to enjoy the vibrant tapestry of our diversity.
Just start dropping them en masse @ Wall Street in NYC, GE Hq. Connecticut, in front of the Capitol, White House, FBI Hq, Ag Dept., NSA Hq. In Maryland, CIA Hq in Virginia. That'll do for starters. And I hope they strip your cars for parts while they take up residence in your secure parking lots.
DeleteCan't drop them unarmed either. They gots to be able to protect themselves.
DeleteAHAHAHHAHAAHAAH watch he gets spanked for "insurrection"
ReplyDeleteBe great if it happened, but Abbott is a fraud. He plays the press and conservatives with big talk and then delivers nothing, time after time. Wish we had DeSantis as our governor.
ReplyDeleteI doubt Abbott will follow through on his "threat". But if he does the bus convoy will be met by Federal agents way before it hits the beltway.
ReplyDeleteDo it and then just dodge any culpability when asked by saying that question is not in my purview of obligations as Governor. I’ll believe Abbott and Desantis when they actually do it.
ReplyDeleteMadMarlin
Electioneering bullshit. But it should be done country-wide, along with giving any homeless a free bus ticket to the West coast cities.
ReplyDeleteWhy doesnt Abbott move the NG to the border?
ReplyDeleteI heard 10K NG were being activated. Also, they are dropping the bus riders on the Capitol steps in DC. We'll see if anything really happens or not. Oh, and 100% safety inspections on foreign commercial vehicles. Gonna be interesting-er down this way.
DeleteThey *are* there, for the better part of a year. They escort the effers to the feds, then threaten to arrest journalists who record them literally assisting people out of the river.
DeleteBack in the 80's Maricopa County was sued and lost for overcrowding and a large part of it was ADOC (prison system) was slow to pick up, (as in months slow) so the county loaded up a couple buses, drove down to ADOC headquarters and left like 50 inmates handcuffed to the flagpole and said it would be daily until ADOC started transferring people at a reasonable pace. Pretty sure it was a 1 time thing...
ReplyDeleteabboot is a WEF devotee. he cannot be trusted to do anything that would make things better for Americans.
ReplyDeleteMust be an election year for Abbott.
ReplyDeleteIt's not as good as it sounds. The illegal immigrants have to volunteer to get on a bus to Washington, otherwise it's kidnapping and that's a felony. It's all political theater.
ReplyDeleteIt's not "kidnapping" when they're arrested for breaking our immigration laws.
