Top 5 Reasons I Won't Go To Local Gun Shows!

Our Local Guns Shows Have Gone WAY down hill. THIS video looks at 5 reasons I will NOT be going back to Local Gun Shows.

VIDEO HERE  (4:51 minutes)

Years and years ago, I went to every gun show in the region, but the 49er Gun Show at CalExpo was by far my favorite - hundreds of vendors. It was a twice a year thing and as soon as one was over, I'd start squirrelling away money for the next one. I was like a kid counting down the days to the county fair and it was not at all unusual for me to drop at least a thousand bucks in ammo, books, reloading supplies, and the occasional gun.
Me getting married the first time put an end to that shit real quick - household responsibilities took precedence over hobbies and obsessions, right?

A couple years ago I went to my first gun show in 20 years down at the county fairgrounds in Lebanon. I walked in with a thousand bucks in my pocket and a desire for a 3 screw Blackhawk in 357 magnum in my heart. If I didn't find the 3 screw, I figured I'd find enough shit that I wanted or needed to blow through my money. What I found was exactly what the guy in the video described. That was the first gun show I'd ever been to that I walked out empty handed and a pocket full of cash.

I was in one of my local gun shops either Friday or Saturday of last week and the owner asked if I'd been to the gun show at the Macon County fairgrounds. Hell, I didn't even know there was one.
Then he started complaining about the prices and told me one vendor was selling a used Glock Whatever for more than the shop was selling them new, and said that what few gun sellers were there were all charging outrageous prices.
Another guy walked in and overheard the conversation and said that he saw one guy selling a box of 100 rounds of 9mm FMJ for a hundred bucks - a dollar a bullet.
