A Utah woman arrested in a hit-and-run accident that killed two bicyclists allegedly told police the crash happened when she began defecating uncontrollably due to a medical condition.
Julie Ann Budge, 47, struck the two California men in their bike lane with her Hyundai Genesis in Washington City, Utah, at about 2 p.m. Saturday during the “Spring Tour of St. George” race, Fox 13 reported.
I have a really hard time finding sympathy for bicyclists. The signs with a bicycle say "share the road" which the bicyclist takes to mean they can hog. Of the hundreds of bicyclists that I've had to deal with in the last year (they love the area I live in), only one actually used pull outs to let the cars pass.
According to the press-release, she claimed either: * 'prescription meds' forced her to swerve, or * her bowels caused her loss of control. . Arrested, two felony Driving Under Influence. In the olden days, did we hang people for killing people? . . And finally, I do not much care for externalizing responsibility. She did it, she walks herself to the gallows and sticks her own head in the noose.
Gotta be a joke in there somewhere about giving a shit about a couple bicyclists from California...
ReplyDeleteResponse of the day!
