You just don't fuck with a man's dog. Period.

SAN ANTONIO — A Texas man was wounded Saturday after police said he threatened to hit his neighbor’s dog with a shovel.

  1. If it was an "all might yapper" dog, I can understand the frustration. Years ago I had a neighbor with some type of "rat in a dog suit" that he left outside. Fuckin mutt would bark at leaves, shadows, wind, and sometimes just to hear itself. Somehow one night the mutt got out of its enclosure. Heartbreaker.

  2. Unfortunately, dogs are considered 'property', which is bullshit. If they're not a member of the FAMILY, maybe you should get a cat. Hurt my dog intentionally, I reserve the right to hurt you at least as bad as you hurt my dog, up to, and including making you eligible for a toe tag.
Fjb, odumma, and kameltoe. Oh, f big mike, too.

  4. If it's just a regular dog then threatening the dog is begging for some John Wick.

If it's a violent / aggressive pitbull or rot that keeps getting out then I can understand the need for a shovel or more. One of my previous neighbor dogs (pitbull or similar) broke into my yard and tried to kill some of my pets. The vermin was lucky I wasn't armed at the time and it took off back through the fence before I could club it. Insurance and registration should be a requirement for dangerous breeds.

I'm not sure who lives thee now but the current barkers were digging underneath the fence. It's since been reinforced and the dogs have since stopped digging under it but it's still dangerous for any of our pets to be in the yard. One of the dogs I saw was scared just looking at me while on the wrong side of the fence before worming back under, so I doubt they are socialized at all and will probably bite if approached.

Owner of the land is a relative and wants an absurd amount of money for it despite it having little development value.

    1. So who determines which breed is dangerous? What's the criteria? Fuck, Chihuahuas are one of the meanest breeds, would they be considered dangerous? What about Jack Russell terriers?
And I don't register my guns with the government, I'll be damned if I'm going to register my dog.

  5. Spot on, Ken. Raised Dobermans since high school. Your dog is a reflection of YOU. Vicious breeds don't exist, but stupid people 'training' dogs are everywhere....

    1. You should see how well that asshole dog Jack turned out after he came here. He's turned into a really good dog.
