Commentary: Tragedy Strikes and Opportunists Circle America
There are few words available to describe the shock and loathing in the wake of the murder of innocent children. The tragedy at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas crystallizes these feelings as people seek to grapple with what went so wrong with an eighteen-year-old that he would choose to murder children, an adult in the school as well as shot his own grandmother before traveling to the school.

ReplyDeleteThere are numerous reports and video that the "hero" cops hung around outside the school FOR AN HOUR LISTENING TO GUNFIRE from inside before entering the school while being implored by parents TO DO SOMETHING.

So, it's not just Broward County who employ coward cops that would rather go home safe after their shift instead of defending the lives of children. The same thing happened at Columbine 20+ years ago and at Parkland where these incompetent fucks let the shooter walk out of the school.
If you're not going to charge gunfire when children are being slaughtered by by some nut with a gun, why are you working as a cop?

You don't deserve the sweat off of my balls, never mind a paycheck and gold plated pension at taxpayers expense.
News flash, the reason you're employed as cops is to deal with situations just like this one and all of the other school shootings that you stood idly by and let the gunmen do their work UNIMPEDED.
Why one might think that there's some collusion going on in letting a nut kill kids to further an agenda.
Yet, not a day goes by when we don't hear about how cops are putting their lives on the line to deal with crime. Couldn't prove it by me.
You won't charge a nut killing kids but you'll kill unarmed people every day just because they twitch or they look at you cross eyed.
When the Broward sheriff fired that asshole that hid outside, some asshole judge gave him his job back. So, the message there is no matter how badly you fuck up as a cop, you get to keep your paycheck and collect your gold plated retirement for doing nothing when the chips were down. Same thing will happen here.
Then they wonder why most people don't hold cops high regard.

Why are regular cops even there? It's a job for a trained SWAT team. I guess they didn't have one. All PD's should have them, even 3 or 4 trained people would do.
