Corrections officer dead after being caught with missing inmate in Indiana
Florence, Alabama, jail employee Vicky White has died Monday after she was apprehended along with murder suspect Casey White in Evansville, Indiana, which ended a 10-day manhunt, according to the Vanderburgh County Coroners Office.

Yeah, no one expected that outcome. A quote from Sheriff Singleton stating, "What I’m very thankful for tonight is that no one was hurt. No citizens were hurt. No law enforcement officers were hurt as a result of this escape," Singleton went on. "We got a dangerous man off the street today. He is never going to see the light of day again." Fucker was already doing 75 years and facing a possible death sentence for murder he admitted to. He already wasn't supposed see the light of day. He got out once, the only thing that guarantees he won't see the light of day is a hot shot, either in the ear or in the arm.

She had a gun, I was in cuffs, and any resistance on my part would have been reported as assaulting her. I hoped only to survive this ordeal, and if not, to die quickly.

Another article I read said they'd been in Evansville for a week already, so 3 days to travel the distance.
DeleteAnd Evansville isn't in the middle of Indiana, it's at the extreme bottom of the State, just across the river from Kentucky. My wife's son lives there.
