We have a dilute calico that is equally laid back and affectionate with our dogs. But I'm still a little surprised that she tolerated this rambunctious puppy around her kittens.
I just moved ten chicks to the coop. My three year old Lab loves them. The other day she spent two hours laying in the same place at times nose to beak with them. She didn't want to leave when I did so I left her. I snuck down to the coop later and Maggie Mae, the dog, was laying there fast asleep. She loves these chicks.
