Here we go again

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Gas prices are back on the rise across the country, and this could make summer travel plans more difficult.

In March, the country hit the highest recorded average price ever at $4.33 cents.

The average right now is just one cent below, at $4.32, so gas prices are up there with no clear end in sight.

*****

It was $3.99 a gallon here yesterday, a 17 cent jump overfuckingnight.
I've got to go into town in a little bit and I'm already gritting my teeth, wondering if it went up again.

    It just went up here in Canada (where we produce it) by more than 15 cents a liter to $2.12 per. By the way, a liter is about a quart so that makes our price around $8.00 per U.S. gallon. in Canadian dollars or $6.50 in U.S. funds. - And - It comes from here ! ! ! !

  4. Hey Kenny;

    The administration is using the high gas prices to push "The Green agenda, and Electric cars" despite it wrecking the American middle class, but they don't care about that "You can't let a crisis go to waste".

  6. Around $4.15 here. However I have 60 gallons of cheap gas stashed in Da Woods for summer use in chainsaws, splitter, mower stc. Was around $2 when I started stashing it. Gas in a clean container will last 2 years min.

    1. TWO YEARS? Where in the hell are you buying your gas from? My gas is good for 6-9 months in a brand new container with Sta-Bil and it doesn't get any better with the 2nd or 3rd filling.

  7. What I'm paying attention to is the 'spend' between gasoline and diesel fuel at the pump. Traditionally a $0.40 difference, it's steadily going up and is at $1.80 today.
    This is what is killing the economy.

  11. Here in the utopia known as California, the two nearest stations are 6.09 and 6.19 for 87 octane crap. I cannot wait to get the heck out of here. Diesel is 6.69 most places.

    Last check $5.19 is the lowest in town, just up from $5.13. Lotsa bitching at the pump and the state is adding yet ANOTHER tax on top of it all!

  13. I'm an OTR trucker. Every 2 to 3 days, I must fill my tanks, so I can deliver the things Americans need. $1000.00 to $1200.00. Every 2-3 days. ($100,000+/ year) It costs me $1.25 for every mile I drive, just for fuel. If it gets much worse, I will have to shut down and file bankruptcy. When store shelves are bare, understand it's because truckers are literally starving.
    Just my 2 cents.

  14. $6.80 a gallon for diesel in CT. Filling the trucks to keep the crews rolling is killing profit
