Looks like WiscoDave has some competition

In what could only be described as reminiscent of the popular Animal Planet reality show from 2014, an Arkansas fan managed to catch a racoon - with his bare hands, mind you - in the stands of the Razorbacks’ game against Vanderbilt on Friday.

  1. I wonder if that was someone's pet? A raccoon's skin is loose enough he can turn his body around inside of it; at least by enough so that, even if you have it by the scruff of the neck, he can turn around and start fanging you.

  2. If not a pet, almost certain to be sick. Why would a raccoon be out in the middle of the day around a bunch of noisy people if not rabid? Although you'd expect a rabid critter to be a bit angrier.

    1. Looked out our back door one day to see a large boar coon laying about in the back yard. He was moving some, but was very placid and didn't bother our dog who was circling around him. Turns out he was in the terminal phase of distemper.
