Paris suspends electric bus fleet after fires

Paris (AFP) – Dozens of electric buses will be taken off the streets of Paris temporarily "as a precaution" after two of the vehicles caught fire, public transport operator RATP said Friday.

Following a second blaze on Friday morning, in which no one was hurt, "RATP has taken the decision to suspend use of 149 electric buses" of manufacturer Bollore's Bluebus 5SE model, the state-owned company said.

  1. I'm in Paris right now. RATP has about a zillion buses so losing 149 is a nothing.

The electric buses were never more than some idiot propaganda stunt. Everybody knew then and still knows that diesel is the way to go.

Pay no attention to what Frogs say. Pay attention to what they do. Frogs have the second largest amount nuclear power per capita. The first is Sweden.

The USA under Biden is the nation to which no one should pay attention, either what you do or what you say.

The fraudulent theft of the second Trump presidency will soon be seen as a great American catastrophe.

Meantime, the Bribe-Em admin is suing the post office to force the agency to replace their aging fleet with all-electrics. Doesn't matter the post office management has some very valid reasons (like battery fires) to reject their "suggestion".
