Talk about throwing the training out the window...

New York Times National Correspondent Mike Baker posted jaw-dropping excerpts of Uvalde police active shooter training materials that clearly contradict what actually occurred during last week’s massacre.

Outrage is snowballing over the police response to the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas that claimed the lives of 19 children and two adults, as damaging revelations raise more questions than they answer.

And on Friday, Baker added to those questions by posting actual training materials he’s been examining, and contrasting them with the conduct of police during Tuesday’s horrific tragedy.

  2. Good to know that there was one cop standing around thumb firmly inserted, for each murdered child....

The cops will protect us though.

  3. All the training in the world will not make up for cowardice . As long as the badge monkeys keep telling each other "As long as we all go home safely at the end of the day it's all good ." shit will not improve. Thats how the thin YELLOW line works .

  4. Pooch has been screwed. Now we shall see what happens when people realize no one is going to save them

  5. What a tough looking bunch. I bet they are all over the shit when they serve a no knock warrant for shoplifting at 2am. They all need to be given shit details until they just give up and quit and their records need to follow them.

  6. Police Chief is a big fan of Beto. What could go wrong?

  7. How many times have the police "stood down" and caused people to die?

  8. They actively prevented people who wanted to go in. None of this “Pee in the pot or get off” for them.

  9. Yeah, “officials” lied from the get and Abbot’s mewling about being “misled” proves his impotence in handling important decisions; he should have fired those asses in front of the cameras from the podium. Trump would have publicly fired them all.

I never want to hear how brave Texans are. Fuck anyone who tells police to “stand down” including and especially their alleged “leaders”.

    1. Citizens must tell cops to stand down with use of force to ensure compliance. There are examples of citizens getting the job done as the badges stand in a circle jerk while posturing that they have command.

    2. Oh, for fuck's sake. The local PD lied to everybody. Only gradually did the truth percolate upward. You expect Abbott to be a mind-reader? And how in the fuck is Abbott orTrump supposed to fire someone who doesn't work for them? Talk about a guaranteed way to make yourself into an ineffectual buffoon. They no more have the power to fire them for their failings than they do to fire you for making such a ridiculous comment.

  10. Every one of these scum should hang. Also, look for the FBI/Alphabet soup involvement, door propped open at a convenient time, officer suppose to be on duty not there, slow response to the scene and then stand around and play big and bad with parents...

  11. And just for the record, I believe this scenario was a set up

  12. Someone needs to check the financials of the on scene commander and the teacher that left the door open.

  13. When things go pear-shaped (and they will), don't expect the LEOs to:
    1) protect civilians,
    2) be on the side of "law and order";
    3) defend the U.S. Constitution

  14. If anyone has addressed the question of why US Marshals were there I haven't seen it.

Anyway, Uvalde seems to be the latest episode in cop training is just a continuation of the false narrative that cops are badass.

    1. It lasted long enough that when the call for help when out, every agency withing 100 miles responded. Those guys came from 70-80 miles away in San Antonio. Usually known for righteous stomping of wanted felons, but not this day. Those that did not go in or that stop family members should be fired.

  16. Anyone who is unwilling to try to stop a murderer in a school is a piece of shit that should suicide themselves. Police, teacher, security guard, any non-handicapped adult. Parents are ultimately responsible for their children...the police should have let them go when the police themselves who cowards.

  17. Sure smells like a setup to me. Too many coincidences. Poke a hole in it and watch the alphabet soup pour out.

  19. If Derek Chavaughn and the three other cops can be charged for letting the drugged up George Floyd dieing on them,.every officer on scene in Uvalde and the chief needs to be convicted of negligent manslaughter for failing to do their jobs.
