#3. We didn't take pictures on phones when my first was born, but yea. That's probably first baby there, and there is NOTHING in your life before that to prepare you for what's about to happen in your heart/mind/soul. I am, of course, assuming the baby is alive and well. I've felt basically the same thing with the subsequent three, but I knew what was coming. And these young fathers now that are used to being over-stimulated with video games and other "videos" of questionable value? I will say, did hold my shit together, but I understand the feeling. -Just a Chemist
Understood 100%. Now wait for the first grandchild. Unbelievable feeling of that great circle of life going around. Plus that terrible feeling you won't be around to see how things turn out.
I was holding my first child in the nursery 15 minutes after he was born. His head was on my shoulder. He picked his up and looked me right in the eyes. I said to my self, "well I'm in trouble now".
45 years ago I went outside and cried after my first was born. Wife asked if they would allow me in delivery room, next one they assumed all dads wanted to be in delivery room, couple years later co- workers were bringing in photos of their kid being born, couple years after that they had video of kid being born. CG methinks. Liftruck was supposed to lift up, then transporter back out from under. Might also be, truck that loaded was bigger than truck unloading, without enough height and/or capacity. Falling load took the truck over with it.
#6 Is awesome. Cut through all the flashiness and get straight to the point. #8 Kid should be made to pick up every last piece of confetti / paper with a pair of tweeters, hold each piece up the sky and scream "I FOUND A PIECE OF CANDY!", then walk it to the trash can. Repeat until all confetti is picked up and self-control improves.
#4 - Well, so much for her career as a social media influencer.

Is it time to mount my TVs sideways? Are we all done with horizontal video?

ReplyDelete#6. Fastest sword west of the Mississippi.
ReplyDeleteGreat restraint by the gal in # 8. The kid deserved a Serious Ass Whoopin'.
ReplyDeleteI would've taken the sword away & busted his ass with the flat side of it. Things like that worked for my kids.

What little boy wouldn’t do that? And she’s hot and has patience. Make a good wife.
Delete#10) Kids, do not attempt this in the delivery room.
ReplyDelete#3 He's crying, it's a miracle. I had a Vasectomy.
ReplyDelete#8 thoughts of infanticide?
ReplyDelete#9 Forks weren't high enough or CG off?
