Why is Wayne LaPierre Still Controlling the NRA? LTC West as Replacement?
Tombstone, AZ- -(Ammoland.com)- On May 2, 2022, the New York Attorney General’s Office filed its Second Amended Complaint against the National Rifle Association.
Not that I get many, but anytime I get a mailer looking for donations or to join up, I send the reply envelope stuffed with as much scrap paper as I can, and a little note regarding Wayne. That way it costs them extra postage for overweight mail. Not a penny until him and his minions are gone. Anyone who sends them money right now needs their head examined.
I'm not a fan of Mr. Fancy Ties, and long ago dropped out of the NRA, but having westie as executive is even worse an idea than having Charlton (I Love MLNJr) Heston as leader some years ago. Here's another take on the absurdity of this diversity clown running for the office: https://www.ammoland.com/2022/05/nra-allen-wests-run-for-waynes-job/#axzz7SoSoV2kd Let's just say that westie isn't as smart as he thinks he is.
Someone once opined NRA stood for Not Relevant Anymore. It isn't. If LTC West has a brain in his head, he will back away like a vampire from a sunbeam. There are other dedicated individuals and organizations fighting to keep our 2nd Amendment rights from disappearing. A person can pledge time and money to them. It would be poetic justice for every member to sue LaPierre for the recovery of their years of dues, since he and his cabal has so effectively squandered the money, along with any credibility.
A while back in this cluster of fun, I got my NRA ballot included in the American Rifleman. I looked up several board nominees on the net, and called them. Several actually answered. They were united in their admiration for WLP. Since then, I, too, have sent back all the pleas for money and renewal of my membership with the "Not-Until-LaPierre-goes" line.
Want to see something sickening, watch Wayne and his wife Elephant hunt. It will piss you off, damn caged elephants and set them up to shoot the poor creatures.
And there are some great state organizations to help financially, such as Virginia Citizens Defense League, Oregon Firearms Federation, Gun Owners of California, etc. The main problem the smaller organizations face is lack of funding. But they sure value and appreciate what they do get, unlike Mr. and Mrs. La Pierre.
VCDL, GOA, and 2A Foundation get my donations. I believe on the NRA mission, but like the rest of you, NRA fundraisers get the "Not until Wayne" is gone response.
La Pierre has taken a once fine organization into the realm of never finding a bill he wasn't willing to compromise on. Destroying an organization wailing to fight battles to keep "human rights" alive and from being trampled on. Best thing I could suggest for new gun owners would be to Study our Declaration, Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Federalist Papers, how they all apply and are still relevant over the last 240+ years. Know those and the intricacies of how they work and were intended to work, then hold ALL you elected offals, feral, state, local accountable for abiding by them. If not, move on to ones that will abide by them. Our Constitutional form of gommermint is one where the "people" rule the gommermint. NOT the other way around as gommermint employees believe now.
Nah. WLP doesn't understand the internet. Above anon is more likely Charles Cotton. Hey, Chuckie, how mad are you now that's Texas not only has open carry, but permitted carry? You opposed both saying that pushing either would scare Texas into banning guns altogether. And then you banned me from your forum for calling you on the bullshit. Chas. Bollweevil is just as bad (if not worse) than WLP. Wayne has ripped off the NRA for decades. Cotton actively lobbied against firearm rights in Texas, while claiming he stood for them. Both are frauds, cheats, and con men. NRA has to get rid of more than Wayne fore to ever send them a penny again.

I admire LTC West, but would think him a fool to even think about picking up this turd from the pointy end

Be sure to check for local or state groups too.

ReplyDeleteDon't buy into the hype, the NRA remains our most prominent and successful gun organization. The others are not managed or as trustworthy as the NRA.
ReplyDeleteIs that you, Wayne?
