  1. Note the plates.

And that definitely discourages tailgaters on the freeway.

    1. I probably should've captioned it "Headed to the gun-buyback" then, huh?

  5. I wonder how many people know what can be done with modern ultra high pressure steel tubing? Especially the stuff used in the oil patch and which can be obtained all over the place for very little money. Likewise, how many know that a .5 inch ball bearing fits pretty well perfectly into that tubing in .5 inch? In 1962 my dad was a stationary engineer working in the Canadian oil patch and he knew those things.

He was working on a 2 inch model when he came to his senses. My brothers and I did play with the half incher for years though, until we put a 'Steelie' right through the garage - 2 walls of shiplap wood siding, plywood sheathing, insulation and drywall, and dad took it away. I still have it in my shop somewhere because dad gave it to me when my first son was born.

    I like cannons.

  6. No doubt the owner of the cannon has an F-15 in his one-fighter-plane garage.

  7. It took me a few glances to realize. I was thinking, who gets a pink Ram?
