California and its label fetish.....

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California may soon require labels on all cannabis products that warn buyers of the risks to their overall health and safety.

*****

First they legalize it because it's completely harmless, now they're going to put labels on it because it isn't.

  2. What, they're going to tell us weed is carcinogenic??
It seems everything but "a small drink of water in a sterilized glass" is.

  3. It doesn't matter how big the warnings on the cigarettes are; you could have a black pack, with a skull and crossbones on the front, called TUMORS, and smokers would be around the block going, "I can't wait to get my hands on these fucking things! I bet ya get a tumor as soon as you light up!"

  4. I love those stickers telling me that if I eat my new brake pads I can get cancer. And now I am still hungry.

  5. Yeah whatever. Been smoking and eating pot since high school in Evergreen, CO (class of '86) When we were 10th/11th graders, my buddy's mom worked on Willie Nelson's mini-ranch - in Evergreen on Upper Bear. He had Llamas and horses and a large property. His mom was the early morning care and feeding.

Along with the animals, Nelson had mountains of choice Hawaiian cincimillian stashed in his pantry that he shipped in from God knows where. My buddy routinely stole gallon ziplocks of it. Brought it back and we smoked and sold as much as we possibly could. Mostly smoked it and gave it away - shitfaced and all. But never felt unhealthy or unsafe. We all turned out alright.

Back then we were just happy as hell to get another gallon bag of Willie Weed.

Still enjoy a daily edible. I live in goddamned CA now.
