He pulled something. I ran track in college, the 400, 400 intermediate, and the steeple chase. Once while running a 400 the guy next to me, big light colored black dude, he was big, we made it to turn one and I head what sounded like a snap, well it was a snap. His ham-sting had literally snapped in two. He crumpled into a ball on the track. His leg was not a pretty site. He would of come in first for sure had he not pushed so friggin hard. Oh the pain.
He would have been DQ'd. I'm sure that was what the officials were trying to get across to the gentleman. Even so the compassion he showed was admirable.

ReplyDeleteHe had to tell 3 'officials' to get lost and he hadn't even reached the finish line yet. I wonder if there were any more.
