The shooting occurred in the Lake Meadows neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side, WLS-TV reported.
According to the Chicago Police Department, a group of people was standing in the parking lot at about 11:45 p.m. CDT when a person began firing shots in their direction, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Delete“A group” is singular. A group was standing. The word “people” is plural. People were standing. Groups of people were standing.

ReplyDeleteI'm not aware of any Lake Meadows neighborhood in Chicago. I think they meant to say the Douglas neighborhood. The shooting occurred at 11:45 PM Friday night in the 3000 block of Rhodes Avenue.
