MT. JULIET, Tenn. -- A kitten is rescued in the Midstate, but it turns out not to be of the domestic variety.
A couple found a "kitten" on their back porch Friday and took it to True Rescue animal shelter in Wilson County looking for emergency placement. But the staff at True Rescue knew exactly what had been brought to them - a bobcat.
I wish I had a bobcat so I could teach my neighbors pit bull a thing or two.

Well, it is that time of the year when they're coming out of their dens and starting to wander.
