  4. Call before you dig! John had a tractor post hole auger. Instead of spending a half hour digging by hand, we fucked around for 2 hours getting it working on the tractor. "Just One More Ream" & we hit the 3 inch water line I knew was around there. Then spent 3 hours fixing the water line.

  6. Even in this hick state they put up warnings for natural gas lines, hundred yards or so, even out in the woods. I wouldn't have expected on to be where he is putting in posts.

  7. Correct W.C., if 811 is 12" off the locate, they get to pay. I had a contractor trench through a 200 pair copper cable & a 24 Strand Single Mode Fiber Optic cable AFTER I told him where is was! $25,000.00 dollars later maybe he listen to me next time?

  8. Call Before You Dig But Dig B4 2 Weeks Is Up! I heard of a contractor who called USA but then waited 3 weeks to dig. Hit an unmarked line. Took USA to court but was found liable.
