Got bullets?

The ease in which 18-year-old Salvador Ramos purchased two semiautomatic rifles and more than 1,600 bullets before killing 19 children and two adults in an Uvalde elementary school Tuesday has highlighted the unfettered access civilians have to ammunition in Texas.

*****

The headline on the article reads 'Where did the Texas elementary school shooter get the guns?' but damned near the entire article is devoted to the ammunition he bought.
Now, just watch. Some Leftist politician is going to introduce a bill limiting how much ammo you can buy or possess and they're going to justify penalizing lawful gun owners with the bill by saying the shooter didn't have a criminal record, so merely doing a California-style background check for ammo isn't enough.

  2. How does a HS Dropout working part time at Wendy's afford 5K of new guns and ammo?

    1. Credit card. He’s a minority so he automatically gets a high limit.

    2. Maybe he expected an early payment on his college loan forgiveness plan.

    3. Just the rifles were $5k. Add another $1400 for the optics, $300 for the magazines, and $800 for the ammo. I see $7,500 easily.

  3. Not if you fight it like your lives and everything else depends on it, because it does.
The overlords don't seem to realize that even if they do succeed in taking away all the guns , ammo, powder, I can still remove them from the planet with a stick, or a rock. Remember rocks don't ya, that Goliath dude got his lights punched out from this minuscule little guy named David with a simple little ol rock.

  4. The real question here is where did an unemployed faggot get the $ to buy two high end AR's, equipped with holographic sights AND the ammo?

  5. Meanwhile, the question remains: Where did an 18 year old burger flipping dweeb get the $8000 cash to buy his ARs and the money it took to buy the ammunition? It didn't happen to come out of an FBI petty cash account, did it?

  6. Dear Lord, just when we were starting to see bullets appear back on the shelf again, now this.

  7. I saw a few places they were Daniel defense rifles too. Not sure if that’s true, but that’s getting well over 3k right there even without any optics or accessories. 1600 rounds purchased this year is at least another 1k. I saw he apparently worked part time at Wendy’s? I didn’t have 4K laying around when I was 18 years old. Where’d he get the money?

    1. In the early photo I saw of two rifles, with an @ address on the photo that I am not sure was his, (blanked out on all sites but the Guardian) one rifle was readably a Daniel Defense, while the other appeared to be a generic copy.

  10. Why do I own so much ammo?

For the same reason I don't buy toilet paper by the square.

    1. Fast and Furious was a BAFTE thing, not an FBI thing.
But at this point in time, what difference does it make?

  12. The 18-year-old had about $8k in guns, ammo, and gear. He had planning, an high priced iPhone, and a costly truck (that was grandma's). Uvalde is close to the border and is a major traffic route for the illegals. The school was left open after the shooting started, which is highly strange as is the school guard being away when the attack started. Also the Police Head stopped them from entering, was found to be a Beto O'Rourke supporter. Several possibilities: 1) the cartels helped supply and plan this with the shooter, 2)the DC Dems were involved, 3)both.

  13. It's been my experience that, for one reason or another, ammo becomes much harder to find every time there's a democrat potus.

  14. Ramos had no criminal or mental health record to stop the sale, therefore it was a legal purchase under current law. But if you want to take people's guns or ban them for the actions of a few, then by that logic, the next step should be to ban automobiles because of drunk drivers, and ban airplanes because of crashes.
