Vernie O. Dickens, 33, was charged Friday with first-degree assault, unlawful weapon use and two counts of armed criminal action in connection with a shooting that occurred last week inside Draque’s Barber Shop at 106 W. 39th St. in Kansas City’s Hanover Place neighborhood. He is currently being held in the Jackson County jail on a $75,000 bond.
From that link...."Under Missouri law, Dickens faces up to 15 years in prison for the assault charge; 30 years for unlawful weapon use and 15 years on each count of armed criminal action"
ReplyDeleteYa well, maybe. Unsure of the DA in that area, but we will see. They hardly ever get the appropriate charges applied and the weapons charges should be served consecutively.
If it wound up being a Mullet he might be justified.
ReplyDeleteDAMN!!!! A lousy haircut and that is what tripped his addled brain!?!?!?! Wonder if there is 5G cell phone reception in that area.....
ReplyDeleteThat's supposedly the way, that the CIA/FBI/MI5 triggers their plants........
I remember still in the seventies folks up in the hollers putting a bowl on their head and shaving the rest. That was by far the worse haircut I have ever seen. Ya gotta admit though, it was even.
