Ohio bill to arm school staff heads to governor’s desk

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – An Ohio bill allowing education staff to carry guns in schools with reduced training is on its way to Gov. Mike DeWine’s desk.

On the heels of a mass shooting at a Texas elementary school that left 21 people dead, the bill was fast-tracked through the Statehouse Wednesday. The Senate voted 23-9 in favor of the bill, and the House approved it just hours later with a 56-34 vote, with nine abstentions.

  1. THAT is Exactly what Common Sense dictates. Somehow I expect that to work a lot better than a sign saying nobody, not even people who want to murder people, can have a gun.

  2. Good. Any democrat/idiot wanting to do some killing should move to a democrat state. Sadly that also includes Colorado. I am ready for them though.

  3. Slight problem... most of todays teachers are anti-gun weenies that wouldn't touch a gun. Want to stop these slaughters? Get to the root of this problem - and many others? Get rid of these liberal/socialist/marxist/communist teachers.
