That's it, blame the woman
(AP) — The prisoner who walked out of an Alabama jail in handcuffs with a corrections official, prompting a manhunt that came to a bloody end in Indiana, was in the woman’s “care and custody” the entire time, his attorneys said in revealing their potential legal defense to an escape charge.

Our boy here was in mid crime spree with an accomplice (doesn't matter who it was) and the accomplice died as a direct result. Manslaughter at a minimum in my view, tack it on to his current 75 year hitch, bye.

Well , She was Stupid ,totally nuts to do what she did. He is a criminal pile of garbage . Add another murder charge to the list ,lock him up and throw away the key since you cannot just hang the bastard like he deserves . But putting it all on her is typical , blame someone who isn't around to defend herself ,how brave!
ReplyDeleteThe Lawyers have a valid point,maybe. He didn't escape, she let him out. As to a murder charge, his current sentence is life, why waste money on a trial. Just put him back in and this time in solitary.

DeleteYep, he was in custody the entire time. His voluntary statements are the only fly in that ointment. In my view, this is a very shrewd defense. Her retirement is irrelevant if the state can't prove he knew about it.
