Cop With Gas Mask Stands By & Watches As Good Samaritan Rescues 2 Kids From Burning Home

Mesa, AZ — As we previously reported, the Justice Department is investigating the police response to the horrifying shooting in Uvalde, Texas that left 19 4th grade children dead along with two teachers. As the world quickly learned in the days after the shooting, police were more concerned with preventing parents from saving their children than they were with stopping the mass murdering psychopath inside the school.

  1. Not saying the officer was right, but a gas mask does not help at all in a fire. It is for particulates like tear gas and OC. It does not work for true gasses like carbon monoxide and does not provide an air supply.

    1. Exactly right.

At least he didn't prevent actual humans from rescuing the kids.

    2. As true as that is, a lot of the lung damage from smoke inhalation comes from airborne particulates. I imagine that a has (filter) mask would mitigate that threat.

Officer, NOT covering yourself with glory, there!

    3. Also the fire will consume the oxygen, that is what it lives off, coincidentally that's what we live off. That is why firefighters don't wear gas masks and wear SCBA.

    4. If I am not mistaken didn't the SCOTUS rule that the police "Do Not" have an obligation to protect and serve. Some of them must have taken that to heart.

  2. Of course, all the other people stood around waiting for someone to do something.
It's not like Uvalde when the cops had guns and others didn't and the cops kept the people from going in .

  3. Ya know, just when you think your opinion of a readily identifiable group could not go any lower.....

  4. And, I imagine his wife has a t-shirt proclaiming she is the proud wife of a first responder.

  5. "Fuck that 'protecting & serving' shit!"
"Is there a dog here I can shoot cuz I'm "in fear for my life?"

    1. Mesa is the dept that chased a vehicle to a convenience store then machine gunned the occupants.
Both the driver (maybe okay) AND the unarmed passenger, the driver’s girlfriend.
“Justified” shooting after an “extensive” investigation.

    2. Mesa, Arizona Po Lice... "Officer" Philip Brailsford shoots Daniel Shaver as he crawls down the hall at the La Quinta Inn, begging the blue bastards "please don't shoot me" and kills him. And walks free...
Attention to all you badged orcs: your friends might get me in a rush, but not before I turn your head into a canoe.

  7. Remember "The policeman is your friend" shit they drilled into us as kids?
Maybe it was BS back then, too.
We know "Duck & Cover" under your school desk was.

    1. And if they had any integrity (yeah, I know, big loophole) if they truly felt that way they would resign and find a different career path. But I guess there aren't that many occupations that allow you to beat the crap out of people and kill with impunity.

  9. The only thing I see is one incredibly brave young man rescuing children, brings a tear to my eye to know there are still men in this world. God bless him! We need a hell of a lot more like him. Eod1sg Ret

  10. Seem like both sides are real good at picking out that one bad or lazy LEO , the one screw up the union stuck us with , but no stories about the other side of the coin . the cop that gave his life trying . Got to keep up the anti LEO narrative .

    1. I've posted plenty of good cop stories here. Unfortunately, it seems like all the good cop stories are stories of what everyday people would do (such as the citizen in this story) but the bad cop stories are real fuck ups.
And in case you haven't noticed, damned near every single day I post bad citizen stories.

  11. Haha, Im seeing 2 1/2 years of plandemic mask on/off conditioning, another maskhole. Catch 22, do the job or dont, if because of the current political environment you hedge your actions, right or wrong, simple, then dont be a cop.
