I got swamped a few weeks ago by a moron, finally got back to the dock & guess who came to return his boat for storage & guess who owns the dry storage business? Got an open spot if anyone is looking.
number 2 show what I have always thought, dogs are better than most people I ever meet. hardest part of living with any dog, is saying goodbye. if there was one wish I was ever to be granted, it is that dogs would live a lot longer than they do. there are a few people I miss, but not as bad as every dog I ever lived with or had the pleasure to know.
#7? You guys are calling the boaters ass holes or the standup boarders? Look if you are in a no wake zone and the boaters pulled that shit, yep I agree. But if the stand up folks are in waters not marked no wake will hate to tell you its on them. But yes either way common boating courtesy is in order and maybe cut the old folks some slack? Well unless the old folks are liberals then fuckum
#7 Who here boats? In the NE most rivers that narrow are No Wake. It's also NW near marinas and mooring areas, which seems to be the case here. In any event, you are responsible for your wake and any damage or injury it does.
#1 is that a heat-sink being made? Cool. #7: Boats in the background and the vegetated banks would suggest it's a likely no-wake zone, but what kind of person who think that's a Golden Rule act? Definitely uncool. How about I don't make room for you when you're pulling that boat up the entrance ramp onto the crowded highway? How about I just stay parallel and crowd you out - it's not illegal - right? Or would you prefer I be courteous?
#3. A facility operated by Sons of Ham. A Son of Japheth would appoint a committee, which would hire experts to conduct a study and report back with recommendations. A Son of Ham says, “Fix the damn problem.” A Son of Shem would say, “So? Why is this our problem?”
#7: I live on a river. People kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and doing whatever you call that stand up paddling thing are just out there enjoying the summer on the water. The people with big motors on their boats flying along at high speed, no thought to anybody else out there, leaving huge wakes, are a bunch of world class assholes.
Every once in a while there's a large boat with an obnoxiously loud sound system, or even worse a fan boat (which tend to be as loud as big propeller planes and have no place in any city.) They're even worse but thankfully the river patrol has no tolerance for such things. My neighbor can be a bit of a Karen at times and she seems to know just who to call about it.
#7: Although kayakers seem to be the spandex bicyclists of the boating world these days, those powerboaters are still assholes.
