All guests who are 17 or younger will need to be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 to get into the park, officials detailed in their amended code of conduct.

An admirable move, but from the videos I've been seeing from airports, amusement parks, malls, fast food places and funeral homes, it isn't age that's the factor.
Just ban joggers, problem solved....
ReplyDeleteSounds like there's a lot more then one of them in the woodpile.
ReplyDeleteIt's than, with an 'a'. More than one of them, and you are soooooo right.
DeleteNope
ReplyDeleteFirst they'll beat the shit out of the chaperones.
ReplyDeleteDoes your parole officer count as a chaperone?
ReplyDeleteHA!

HA!HA!HA!
Love it!
You nailed it that time Beans.
This is Ca., the best they can do is a social worker.
DeleteThe chaperone needs to be a white person with a billy club and a tazer and a short fuse.
ReplyDeleteBut age does matter because if you get a minor arrested, the record will probably go away when they turn 18. If there is a responsible adult (and i use that term in the loosest sense) in charge, that adult can be charged, and that won't be wiped from their criminal record...never mind this is California.
ReplyDeleteThe Vato Locos have been causing problems at Knott's for many years. I saw it and experienced it as a Peace Officer for OC agencies from 1972 to 2002. Nothing new. It is just getting more exposure. Get out of CA while you still can.
ReplyDeleteThe last time I went to Knotts it was 1969 and tighty whitey and nice. We took my best friend's grandmother there for the first time in many years-for her. She knew it as the berry picking farm from her youth. I think we all drove in a '67 Tempest two door 6 cyl with a glass pack muffler with my friend's mom at the wheel. My friends and I used to love to make excuses to rev it up.

NAPAs.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, it is NOT an age issue, there is another issue at play, we know what it is, but have to self censor to be able to play.
