'Jackasses were setting off fireworks'

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — A 53-year-old Ooltewah man faces more than a dozen charges after police say he pulled a gun on several families who were celebrating the 4th of July a day early.

  2. Our old sheriff used to say things like, "it's July 4th.Fireworks are legal until 1:00 AM so don;t be calling 911 about it but if you want to blow your driveway at 7:00 the next morning, that's legal, too."
