  2. Where are the manners in this country? I'm in agreement with the perp, and if it was me I might have pulled the trigger!

    1. An armed society is (supposed to be) a polite society.

  3. Felt that way myself at times. Instead, I just yell out "You're welcome, asswipe!".

  4. It's at least one pleasant interchange I have with people of diversity both opening doors for them and them for me. "Thank you." "You're welcome." Of course, this is the South, small town, and I'm 80 years old.

  5. shoulda said "thank you"...now, pulling a gun on them seems a bit harsh, as well, especially since the fool got caught by the cops, who found that he shouldn't have possessed one anyway...

  7. There was a Korean movie 15-20 years ago called "No Mercy For The Rude" about a hitman who would also kill anybody who got on his nerves for being too rude or obnoxious. I found it amusing, but damn, that was just a movie.

Anyway, I'm Canadian. We tend to be polite. Actually the only Canadian city I've ever been in where people aren't polite as a rule was Ottawa.
