Must not be a black neighborhood

NEW YORK - Some East Village residents are complaining that their condos constantly smell like fried chicken--and they say a new Wingstop around the corner is to blame. 

"All day every day the residents get to smell chicken and french fries and feel like they’re wearing grease," says condo owner, Lawton Taylor. "And it’s not when we’re on our balcony it’s even when we’re sitting in our homes."

      Indeed. In Oregon they move out of the city into farming country, then complain about the tractors, and that the air "smells like dirt".

    I lived across the parking lot from Bodacious BBQ in Longview in the late 80's. Everything we hung on the line smelled like bbq. I never got tired of it. Lived there 4 years. Drying off after a shower with a smoked towel made me hungry...

      Huge difference between the wonderful smell of a smoker and deep fat frying yard pimp. I really like walking in my backyard near my barrel smoker.

    Then move the hell out. Why anyone lives in NYC (or, for that matter, any major metro area that is “blue” with attendant corruption, high crime, and ridiculous firearms limitations) is beyond me. Just don’t bring your leftist values and votes to any Red state.

      When that “Wingstop” starts serving WEF cockroaches, the smell should be very familiar to them.

    My first mistake worked at a KFC back in the 60s, and came home every day stinking of it - was 20 years after before I would touch that stuff.
